Betts to wrestle in World University

Minnesota Storm wrestler Chas Betts has been named to the University
National Team that will compete in the World University Championships
in Ulan Bator, Mongolia, June 15-20. Betts placed second in the 84
KG/185 pound weight class at the USA Wrestling
University Nationals in Evanston, Ill on April 30th. Champion Kenneth
Cook will not be competing, opening the spot for Betts.
Betts will attempt to earn his second consecutive spot on the FILA
Junior World Team that will compete in Guatemala this summer. He placed
first in the FILA Junior National Championships in Las Vegas in April,
earning him a bye into the finals of the USA FILA Junior World Team
trials.
