Nov. 27, Northfield, Minn. - Cody Brown (Jr./Foley, Minn.) was Carleton's lone individual winner as visiting U.W.-Eau Claire took a 51-3 decision in nonconference wrestling action at West Gym this evening.
The BluGolds (2-1) took four wins by forfeit and four by pins, as Davey Starks (Fall Creek, Wis,.) at 125 pounds, Jake Lawrence (Mankato, Minn./West) at 141 pounds, Ben Podoll (Fall Creek, Wis.) at 174 pounds and heavyweight Pete Peterson (Catawba, Wis./Phillips) all recorded pins. Carleton's lone victory of the evening came at 197 pounds, as Brown earned a penalty point, an escape point and a two takedown points in the second quarter en route to a 6-2 triumph.
Carleton (0-1) travels to Crawfordsville, Ind., to participate in the Indiana Little States Tournament this weekend.
