The 2002 Big Ten Champion and NCAA runner-up University of Minnesota wrestling team will host its annual Awards Banquet on Sunday, April 27, at 5:30 p.m., at the Four Points Sheraton in Minneapolis, Minn.
The event features various team awards, senior speeches, a video presentation and an outlook to the 2003-04 season. The banquet is open to all fans and supporters of the Golden Gopher wrestling program.
The cost of the event is $35 per person with the social hour beginning at 4:30 p.m., followed by dinner at 5:30 p.m., and the awards presentation at 6:30 p.m. Friends of the Minnesota wrestling team are encouraged to sponsor wrestlers or mat aids.
