SIOUX FALLS, SD--North Dakota State junior wrestler Lucas Christianson is one of 12 athletes and the only Bison on the 2003 North Central Conference men's All-Academic At-Large team, the league office announced on May 9th.

Christianson, 44-31 in his career, is a two-time All-American on the mat. He was fifth in the North Central Conference tournament this year at 141 pounds and finished the season 11-5 overall with five pins and a 4-1 mark in duals. He carries a 3.51 grade-point average in biochemistry.
Bison wrestlers Joe Bryce and Nate Pesta were honorable mentions to the team.
The NCC men's All-Academic At-Large team consists of athletes from the conference's golf, tennis, wrestling and swimming & diving teams. The 12-member group has a combined GPA of 3.68 including one perfect 4.00.
