The official web site of University of Minnesota Intercollegiate Athletics, www.gophersports.com, will be providing streaming video and a live audio webcast of this Friday's Minnesota vs. Iowa Wrestling Showdown at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn.
Immediately following the conclusion of the dual meet, gophersports.com will be posting streaming video clips from the Showdown, courtesy of Dayport, a Mankato-based firm that specializes in video streaming products. Dayport currently provides the streaming video functionality for www.KSTP.com with its "My 5 Cast."
All of Minnesota's home dual meets, including the Showdown, will be webcast live on gophersports.com. Former Golden Gopher wrestlers Jesse Krebs and Brandon Paulson will call the action from the Xcel Energy Center this Friday. The webcast will begin at approximately 6:45 p.m. Listeners can access the webcast by clicking on the Gameday section of www.gophersports.com.
