Tickets on sale now for Minnesota vs. Oklahoma State dual

Tickets for the Ice Dual, a nonconference dual meet between third-ranked Minnesota and top-ranked Oklahoma State, are on sale now through Ticketmaster. The Ice Dual will take place Friday, Jan. 3, at 7 p.m., at Target Center in St. Paul, Minn.

Tickets for the Ice Dual are available through Ticketmaster at the Target Center Box Office, all Ticketmaster locations, at 651-989-5151 or online at www.ticketmaster.com. Ticket prices are $40 for floor seats (mat-side), $20 for lower level, and $15 for upper level. Groups of 10 or more can receive a $5 discount per ticket by calling 612-673-1311.

A follow-up to the successful Minnesota vs. Iowa Showdown, held earlier this season at the Xcel Energy Center in downtown St. Paul, Minn., the Ice Dual features the two-time defending national champion Golden Gophers taking on top-ranked Oklahoma State, a perennial contender for the NCAA crown. Like the Showdown, the Ice Dual will include an in-arena master of ceremonies, highlight videos, instant replays, taped and live interviews with wrestlers, coaches and fans, pyrotechnics, and much more.

Last season at the inaugural Border Brawl, top-ranked Minnesota defeated Iowa 22-15 in front of 15,646 fans. The meet set an NCAA attendance record for a collegiate wrestling dual meet. This year, at the Minnesota vs. Iowa Showdown, 12,180 fans were in attendance to see the Hawkeyes upset the Golden Gophers, 24-11, to open the 2002-03 season.
