This left even John Sterner, in his 15th and final season as Dragons head wrestling coach "flabbergasted."

MSUM trailed 12-3 before taking four of the final five matches to rally past the No. 10-ranked Mavericks (5-2) Saturday at Alex Nemzek Fieldhouse.

The Dragons (7-5) clinched in the evening's final match, 157 pounds. After pulling even on an escape with no time left in regulation, Josh Jansen topped Cory Beckman, ranked No. 3 in Division II, 14-12 in overtime.

MSUM will host Northern State (S.D.) at 7 p.m. Wednesday in the final home match of Sterner's careeer.
