Gophers take on Badgers and Boilermakers

The 11th-ranked Golden Gopher wrestling team (7-4, 1-1) hosts No. 14 Wisconsin and Purdue at Williams Arena this weekend. Minnesota holds seven-match winning streaks against both squads. The Golden Gophers face the Badgers on Friday night at 7 p.m., and will meet the Boilermakers on Sunday at 2 p.m.

Fox Sports Net on the air Friday

Minnesota's match with Wisconsin on Friday night will be aired on Fox Sports North on a tape-delayed basis at 9:30 p.m.The broadcast will follow the Golden Gopher-Badger men 's hockey game which begins at 7 p.m.Clay Matvick and former Golden Gopher Willy Short will provide commentary on the broadcast. Short was a 1993 All-American at the University of Minnesota and posted a career record of 121-31-2.
