The 25th nationally ranked SJU wrestling team competed at the Cobber Open on Saturday, Nov. 22, in Moorhead. No team scores were kept.
Individually, senior Matt Vos, Hopkins, finished third at 125 pounds with a 4-1 overall record. Freshman Jacob Malone, New York Mills, finished third at 157 pounds with a 6-1 overall record. Sophomore Dan Fiecke, Winsted, finished third at 197 pounds with a 5-1 overall record.
Freshman Adam Gosiak, Little Falls, finished fourth at 174 pounds with a 4-2 overall record. Sophomore Dan Willaert, North Mankato, finished fourth at 184 pounds with a 4-2 overall record.
