The Mustang wrestling team dropped their first NSIC match to rival
Northern State, 30-14 in Aberdeen, SD on Wednesday night. Keefer
Jensen (141 lbs) earned the first victory of the night for SMSU with
a technical fall (22-7) over NSU's Charles Shimmel. Shawn Plumley
(165 lbs) recorded his 20th career victory as a Mustang. The freshman
defeated Lance Stuwe in a 8-1 decision.
SMSU falls to 5-6 in dual meets and 0-1 in the NSIC. They will
travel to the St. Cloud State on Friday to face the Huskies at 7
p.m.
