Rhoten earns share of Wrestler of the Week Award

Sioux Falls, SD - The offices of the North Central Conference have announced that Minnesota State sophomore 149-pounder Jason Rhoten (Kasson, Minn.) has been named the NCC Co-Wrestler of the Week. Rhoten shares the award with Tim Boldt of Augustana College.
Rhoten, the third-ranked wrestler in the nation at 149 pounds, picked up a pair of victories last week. Friday evening, in MSU's 37-3 victory over Wisconsin-Parkside, Rhoten defeated Matt Fiordirsoa 4-0. Saturday evening Rhoten earned a major decision over second-ranked Shane Unger of Nebraska-Omaha, 11-3.
The Mavericks travel Kirksville, Mo., Friday evening to face Truman State in their final dual of the season.
