Golden Gopher Wrestling Season Kickoff Golf Tournament scheduled for Sept. 13

The University of Minnesota wrestling team has announced its annual season kickoff golf tournament will be held on Monday, Sept. 13, at Gopher Hills Golf Course in Meisville, Minn. Meisville is located just south of Hastings, Minn. The event gives the public the opportunity to meet the Golden Gopher wrestlers and staff.
Registration and social hour are scheduled for 11:30 a.m., with a shotgun start scheduled for 1:00 p.m. The tournament will be a scramble format with teams made up of four to five people. A dinner will follow the golf tournament with door and raffle prizes being awarded.
Cost of the event is $100 per person and includes 18 holes of golf, a cart, dinner and a small gift. Those who cannot attend can sponsor a wrestler for $100.
