North Central Conference adds affiliate members
The North Central Conference has added three institutions as affiliate members in wrestling beginning with the 2004-05 season.
The institutions that will compete for North Central Conference titles are: Minnesota State University-Moorhead, Northern State University, and Southwest Minnesota State University.
Affiliate members will compete in the North Central Conference championships and will be part of the regular season schedules, where applicable.
"We are excited to have these institutions compete for North Central Conference championships," said interim commissioner Melanie Nelson.
"With the addition of these teams we continue to give all of our student-athletes a first-class championship experience."
The North Central Conference wrestling championship will be determined from the standings at the NCAA North Central Region on February 27 in St. Cloud, Minn.
