SCSU wrestlers named to NCC Academic Honor Roll

St. Cloud, MN -- A trio of St. Cloud State University wrestlers have been named to the the NCC Commisssioner’s Academic Honor Roll for wrestling. They were three of the 20 student-athletes who have acheived the honor. Those athlete from SCSU on the list include sophomore Adam Landherr, junior Tom Messerli and junior Shane Tappe.
To qualify student-athletes must have a minimum 3.20 grade point average, have completed at least two semesters at their current school and have competed against outside competition. This is the first year that the NCC has released a NCC Commissioner’s Academic Honor Roll.
Landherr is a mechanical engineering major from Austin, while Messerli is a pre-business major from Lafayette. The group is complete by Tappe, who is a technology education major from Detroit Lakes.
