FOREST CITY, Iowa - The St. Olaf wrestling team defeated Knox College
41-9 before Waldorf nipped the Oles 24-21 in a triangular meet on
Saturday.
St. Olaf won four bouts and another two by forfeit in the win over
Knox. Collin Pitts (125), Dan Rysavy (133) and Lucas Scott (165) each
had pins, and Thomas Kopietz earned a major decision at 174.
With the match tied 21-21, Waldorf needed a 7-5 heavyweight win to clip
the Oles 24-21. St. Olaf had wins from Rysavy, Nick Espinosa (149) and
Kopietz.
