David Thorn commits to the University of Minnesota

David Thorn, a junior at St. Michael-Albertville high school, verbally committed to wrestle for the University of Minnesota following his senior season with the STMA Knights. David will join his older brother Mike with the Golden Gophers.
David is currently a three-time Minnesota high school state champion
winning at 125 pounds in 2008, 112 pounds in 2007, and 103 pounds in
2006. He will be seeking his fourth title as a senior.
He placed third at Junior Freestyle Nationals at 112 pounds last summer
and prior to that was a Cadet National Folkstyle champion and placed
7th at Cadet Freestyle Nationals.
