October 10, 2008
Bloomington Kennedy junior Dylan Ness has verbally committed to wrestle for the University of Minnesota following his senior season (2010).
Ness placed third at State in Class AAA at 119 pounds as a sophomore
and third at 103 pounds as a freshman. His current record is 79-5.
Nationally, Dylan won the prestigious Cadet Triple Crown this

in folkstyle, Greco-Roman and freestyle during the same year. Only five
wrestlers have ever accomplished this feat. He was also named
Outstanding Wrestler of the tournament after winning his freestyle
national title.
Dylan's older brother Jayson, now in his junior year with the Golden Gophers, is a two-time All-American.
Parents are Jay and Sally and his coach is Charles Vavrosky.
