
Bison Close Out Virginia Duals with Loss to Ohio

HAMPTON, Va. - The North Dakota State
wrestling team fell to Ohio in the final match of the Virginia Duals,
27-16. The Bison went 0-3 in the Virginia Duals and have now dropped
four straight dual meets. NDSU is now 2-5-1 this season. Senior Adam
Aho and junior Ryan Adams both posted 2-1 records to lead the team.
Adams won his second match of the day against Kevin Christensen at 149
pounds in a 6-3 decision, while Aho shut out Steve Wilson at 165
pounds, 3-0.
Kenny Moenkedick also won his match against Ohio's Brian Driscoll in a
10-0 major decision. Tyler Hemmesch also emerged victorious after
pinning Andy Hartshorn at the 2:40 mark in the heavyweight bout.
The Bison now return to Fargo to host Augsburg on Friday, Jan. 16 at 7:30 p.m.
