Mavericks Clash with University of Mary in Dual Action

Bismarck, N.D. -- Coach Jim Makovsky and the Minnesota State University Mavericks continued their winning ways with a 35- 8 over the University of Mary Marauders Saturday afternoon.
The Mavericks tallied a total of five wins by major decision, with
sophomore Andy Forstner (Madelia, Minn.) getting the first at 125. MSU
then rattled off three more victories, two by forfeit and the other a
major decision when senior John Puttman defeated Landon DellaSilva at
141.
After a loss at 157, Kevin Walraff got the Mavericks back on track with
a 17-15 over-time win over Shane Pimeau. The Mavericks finished up the
meet winning three out of their last four matches. Junior Ben Becker
(Fort Dodge, Iowa), freshman Aaron Norgren (Good Thunder, Minn.), and
junior Brady Wilson (Faribault, Minn.) rounded up the afternoon winning
all of their matches by major decision.
