Senior Tyler Tubbs and junior Jarret Hall posted victories in the
opening round of the 2009 NCAA Division II National Wrestling
Championships at Houston, TX but both dropped their second matches on
Friday night. Tubbs fell to Aaron Denson of Nebraska-Omaha 5-2 at 165
pounds while Hall was defeated by Kamarudeen Usman of Nebraska-Kearney
4-2 in the 174-pound bracket. The meet concludes on Saturday.
