Tubbs earns NCAA II All-American laurels with sixth place finish

Senior Tyler Tubbs was decorated with All-American honors for a sixth
place finish at the 2009 NCAA Division II National Wrestling
Championships at Houston, TX. Tubbs fashioned a 3-3 record at the
national tournament and fell to Taylor May of Nebraska-Kearney 5-3 in
the fifth place match. The rest of the MSU Moorhead delegation--Tallen
Wald, 157, Jarret Hall, 174, Matt Nelson, 197, and Tim Johnson,
285--were eliminated on Friday. MSUM tied for 25th place.
