Concordia College Gains Invite to 2010 NWCA Division III Duals

The Concordia wrestling team, which placed fifth in the 2009 NCAA Division III National Dual championships, has been invited to participate in the 2010 NWCA Division III Duals on Jan. 9-10, 2010.  This invite-only tournament features the top NCAA Division III wrestling programs.  The University of Northern Iowa in Cedar Falls, Iowa will host it.

Selection to the tournament is based on returning national place winners and overall team strength from teams who apply for entrance to the 2010 tournament.  Concordia will join Augsburg, Coe, Cornell, Delaware Valley, Heidelberg, Johnson & Wales, Luther, North Central, St. Johns, U. of Dubuque, UW/LaCrosse, UW-Stevens Point, UW-Whitewater, Wartburg, and Williams at the tournament.

This will mark the third consecutive season that the Cobbers have been invited to this prestigious event, the Cobbers posted a 4-1 record at the tournament in 2009 placing fifth.
