USA
Wrestling, Dan Gable Museum partner with NCAA, WebStream Productions
for Division I, II and III Wrestling Championships Webcasts
March 5, 2010
Broadcasters from USA Wrestling and the Dan Gable International
Wrestling Institute and Museum will provide wrestling fans play-by-play
commentary throughout the live webcasting of the NCAA Divisions I, II
and III Wrestling Championships.
Jason Bryant of USA Wrestling and Kyle Klingman of the Dan Gable Museum
called the action last year for the NJCAA, Division II and III
championships as part of Wrestling 411. This year, the pair will team
up for the three NCAA divisional championships to be Web cast through NCAA.com and produced by WebStream Productions.
NCAA.com will show the final round of the Division III championships,
all four sessions of the Division II championships and first day
coverage of the Division I championships. The second and third days of
the Division I championships will be broadcast by the ESPN family of
networks.
“It’s going to be great to work with Kyle again at the Division II and
III championships, said Bryant, USA Wrestling’s Coordinator of
Grassroots & Social Media. “There is an equal amount of excitement
across all of the wrestling championships, and we’re pleased to be able
to call the action to wrestling fans around the country.”
“Last year, WebStream Productions put together a first-class operation
and I’d expect nothing less from John Servizzi and his staff,” added
Bryant. “It’s a real team effort here with the NCAA, WebStream
Productions, the Gable Museum and USA Wrestling all coming together to
provide the wrestling community more online live coverage of NCAA
wrestling than ever before.”
The Division III championships finals Web cast will start Saturday,
March 6 at 7 p.m. Central from the U.S. Cellular Center in Cedar
Rapids, Iowa.
The Division II Web cast will span all four sessions, beginning on
Friday, March 12 at 11 a.m. Central for session one and then again at 6
p.m. Central for session two.
The semifinal session will begin at 10 a.m., Saturday, March 13 with
the finals session commencing at 8 p.m. Central from the Sapp
Fieldhouse in Omaha, Nebraska.
The two sessions Web cast on NCAA.com at the Division I championships
