Friederichs passing a loss to Minnesota wrestling community

The Minnesota wrestling community suffered a loss when Timothy "Fuzzy" Friederichs passed away on November 16th. He was an avid member of USA Wrestling and was the founder of the Hi-Flyers Wrestling Club. Tim has helped youth wrestlers across Minnesota throughout the years.

Friederichs, Timothy Joel (Fuzzy) Age 54, of Maple Grove, MN, passed away November 16, 2005 in Hospice care at Methodist Hospital in St. Louis Park, MN. He is preceded in death by his parents, Norman & Dorothy Friederichs; brother, Jack; grandparents, Walt & Ema Friederichs, Dan & Ina Vinsant of Iowa; and sister-in-law, Marge Friederichs of Eden Prairie. As a loving and supportive husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend, he will be deeply missed by his wife, Pat of 34 years and her parents, Gaylord & Norman Whitting; sons, TJ and TY; grandson, Brady; brothers, Norm (Kate) of Eden Prairie and Dennie (Jan) of Fort Dodge, IA; and nieces and nephews, relatives and friends. He was the founder of the Hi-Flyers Wrestling Club, and a contributor to MN/USA wrestling as well as the overall wrestling community. Until his retirement in 1996, he was an Investment Banker, where he owned and operated his own firm, Westonka Investments for over a decade before merging with another company. He was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman with countless Master Angler Awards. He cherished his time fishing year after year on Lake Athapapaskow in Flin Flon, Manitoba, Canada with his friends and family. "We'll miss ya Fuz." A memorial service will be held at a later date.
