Cobber Wrestling Camp competition

Over 280 campers attended the 2007 Cobber Wrestling Camp on June 10-14.

Campers competed in competitions throughout the week, including dual meet competition, takedown tournament, Ironman competition, and a dodgeball tournament.

Iron Man Champions
To become an Iron Man each camper must complete a difficult sequence of test and mental challenges each day of camp. Each Challenge is worth a certain amount of points that are totaled at the end of camp. Only the top 30% qualify for this award, making it very competitive. This year the cut-off to receive the Iron man award was 950 pts. The following is a brief explanation of those challenges: (#1) Push-ups with out stopping, (#2) 10 minutes of sit-ups, (#3) 12 minute run, (#4) 2 minute agility run, (#5) 10 minutes of burpees, (#6) Pull-ups, (#7) Complete the Cobber goal-setting booklet, and (#8) complete the Super Set work out/Anatomical Weight program.

Takedown Tournament Champions
Dodgeball Champions: Team Aberdeen from SD

Team Aberdeen won the final game defeating the defending champions from Annandale/Maple Lake two-out-of-three games in sudden-victory overtime.
