Dear Family and Friends,
This letter is written in regards to a special event that will soon be
taking place. It is for a special little guy and his family. Colin Wurm
is an 8 year old that is dependent on a wheelchair for mobility. He has
cerebral palsy which hasn’t allowed him to walk. Because Colin never
misses out on family outings he needs a new set of wheels, much larger
ones! These wheels need to be attached to a van designed to accommodate
his chair, and to make room for his little sister, Caroline. Loren and
Janet would then need to have a lift installed in their van. We would
like to help them financially with this huge expense so we planned a
party. It is a benefit dinner serving a pork chop dinner and a silent
auction. We are searching for donated items to be auctioned
individually and also for theme baskets. We are hoping that family and
friends will provide some baskets. How about you? Create your own, copy
someone’s idea, or if you prefer send small items that can be combined
with others. If you do put one together we need all baskets brought to
Deb Wurm’s house by April 28th.
If baskets don’t interest, how about dinner, please join us.
Cash donations would also be fine. They are being placed in a fund.
