Wrestling 411 speaks with Cary Kolat

July 22, 2009

He may be the greatest high school wrestler ever. Cary Kolat was an undefeated four-time Pennsylvania state champion who placed third twice at the prestigious Midlands tournament while in high school. Kolat went on to become a four-time All-American and two-time NCAA champion in college — and a two-time World medalist and 2000 Olympian internationally. He speaks only with Wrestling 411 on www.Wrestling411.tv.

Kolat now runs Kolat.com, an online training system that catalogues wrestling technique. After making a comeback in 2007 and 2008, Kolat is teaching young wrestlers the techniques that made him great.

Wrestling 411 spoke with Kolat at the Junior Nationals about his historic career, the disappointments of his international wrestling career, his trick knee, and some of his best rivalries. You too can hear it all on Wrestling 411, click www.Wrestling411.tv.

Remember there is no “off season” on Wrestling 411.  Stay tuned to the sport and all the action via www.wrestling411.tv anytime and anyplace.
