Over the river and back to Division II: Moorehead State’s Kris Nelson Talks with Wrestling 411

Kris Nelson knows a little something about Division II wrestling and the Fargo-Moorhead area and shares his thoughts with Wrestling 411. Nelson was the 2000 NCAA Division II champion at 133 pounds and the tournament’s outstanding wrestler. He continued on at NDSU earning a masters degree and working along side mentor Bucky Maughan as an assistant coach.

Nine years following his NCAA Division II championship, Nelson returns to Division II as the head coach at Minnesota State-Moorhead. Nelson was hired during the festivities called the Junior Nationals in Fargo. Hear Nelson’s thoughts on www.Wrestling411.tv anytime and anyplace.
