School of Champions announces Gordy Morgan as head director

Minneapolis, MN – The School of Champions has announced Gordy Morgan – Big Ten Champion (U of MN), Head Coach/Director for Gopher Wrestling Club, 1996 Olympian, and three-time US National Champion – as the 2009 School of Champions Head Director. Also on staff is former Gopher Manuel Rivera and current Gopher Jason Ness.

“I am glad to have Manny and Jayson on staff with me” said Morgan. "They are both great clinicians that will bring a lot to this program and help improve every athlete that joins us at this year's School of Champions."

Morgan is looking forward to the challenge ahead beginning with the first session on September 13th. The School of Champions will then continue with evening sessions available to ages 6-18 concluding on November 19th.
