- The Eagan Wildcats defeated the Chaska Hawks 49-13 in
a Lake Conference dual meet at Eagan High
- School. The Wildcats won 9 of the 13 matches, with 6
falls and 2 technical falls recorded.

- The visiting Hawks started strong, winning by
decision at 103 (Andy Bisek) and 112 (Ben Pierson)
to
- take an early 6-0 lead. Eagan junior captain Nate
Schraan got the Wildcats going with a victory by
- fall at 119 (up one weight from his normal 112),
tying the score at 6-6. Chaska won a 7-6 decision
- (Adam Karius) at 125, giving the Hawks a 9-6 lead
after four matches. After the 125 match, Eagan was
- penalized one team point for unsportsmanlike
conduct.

- Trailing 9-5, the Wildcats went to work, winning 8 of
the final 9 matches with 5 pins, 2 technical
- falls, and a major decision. From 130 through 160,
Eagan scored 33 straight points on 6 consecutive
- victories to take a commanding 38-9 lead, enroute to
the 49-13 final score.

Conference. Chaska is now 0-7 in the Lake
