RUM RIVER CONFERENCE

Favorite: Saint Michael-Albertville Knights

Dark Horses: Milaca Wolves and Foley Falcons

Saint Michael-Albertville Knights (27-3 8-0 RRC 2nd State Class 2AA Section 4AA Champion)

The Knights have enough talent and experience with eight wrestlers returning with 30 wins or more and three state place winners to win the tough Rum River Conference and to challenge for Section 4AA and State AA Championships. They have the potential to have one of their strongest teams in school history.

They should make a big improvement on last years dual meet marks. The Wolves might make a return trip to the state tourney with what should be a very balanced team.

They should make a big improvement on their dual meet marks of last year. The Mainstreeters should have one of the best seasons in school history. If they keep their guys spread out and are able to fill in a couple of young wrestlers they could challenge for section 7AA honors.
