Matousek ties wins record

Glencoe-Silver Lake senior Nate Matousek picked up three pins and a tech fall at the Red Rock Central/Westbrook-Walnut Grove Tournament on Saturday bringing his win total to 233. His total wins ties Minnesota's all-time high school career wins record of 233 held by Mitch Kuhlman of Medford since 2003.

Matousek is 35-0 this season and is currently on a winning streak of 110 wins dating back to the 2002 Minnesota Christmas Tournament.

Glencoe-Silver Lake has a home triangular against LeSueur-Henderson (5:00 pm) and Mankato West (~8:00) on Tuesday, February 1st at Glencoe HS.
