Minnesota coaches recognized by national wrestling publication

Two Minnesota wrestling coaches were recently recognized in Wrestling USA Magazine.
In the May 30th issue, Owatonna Coach Scot Davis was runner-up for
their 2006 Coach-of -the-Year Award. Davis became the nation's
winningest high school wrestling coach this year with a record of
757-113-4. The Coach-of -the-Year Award went to Russ Cozart who coaches
at Brandon, Florida.
In the May 15th issue, Goodhue Coach Bill Sutter was named the 2006
Minnesota State Person-of-the-Year. Sutter became the third high school
wrestling coach in the nation to earn 700 career wins this season. His
current record is 716-158-8.
