The Lightning
will be looking for big things again this season after having their
best season in the schools history. The return six section place
winners and five others with great deal of experience. After winning
the Section 5AA championship in 2007 and gaining a great deal of
state tourney experience they will be a huge force to be reckoned
with. They could challenge those excellent dual meet marks of 24-4
and 8-0 in the WCC. They will be led by Jake Anderson, Jesse
Punchocher, Joe Puncocher, Nick Clemence and Brian Redemske. Despite
graduating five excellent seniors and their head coach leaving, look
for the Lightning to challenge for Wright County Conference and
Section 6AA honors.
