Second Annual Hall of Fame Event in Jackson

The Jackson County Wrestling Hall of Fame will induct four new members on Dec. 4, 2008. The inductees, who will be announced at a later date, will be inducted into the JCWHOF prior to the wrestling match against Lake Crystal-Wellcome Memorial.

The evening will begin with coffee in the Jackson County Central Performing Arts Center at 5 p.m. The induction ceremony will start at 5:30, with junior varsity wrestling matches beginning at 6 and varsity to follow. Inductees will be introduced between the junior varsity and varsity matches. A $5 meal will be served from 5 to 7:30, with the proceeds going to the JCWHOF.

Following the match, a social will take place at Pillars in downtown Jackson, beginning at approximately 10 p.m. Everyone is invited to attend the ceremony, meal, wrestling match and social.

The inductees will join Wayne Ailts, Jim Hart, Garry Natterstad, Dean Libra, Rich Benda, Larry Michelson, Bill Johnson, Scott Vancura, Tim Jansma, Chad Kraft, Matt Kraft, Gary Huhnerkoch, Jeff and Martha Johnson and Terry Wheeler, who were inducted into the inaugural JCWHOF class last year.
