The Knights had ten wrestlers that were unbeaten in the section duals. Parker Betts, Ryan Kessler, Kraig Schumm, Shawn Little, Jake Horn, Jordan Scherber, Ben Horn, Kyle Salonek, David Thorn and Mike Lindquist.
The Knights had fourteen section place winners including twelve state qualifiers. David Thorn, Kraig Schumm, Jordan Campa, Ben Horn, Shawn Little, Parker Betts, Carl Salonek all won section championships. Kyle Salonek, Jake Horn, Jordan Scherber, Dustin Kottke and Ryan Kessler all earned second to their trip to the state tourney.
Jake Lillie and Cole Sladek both earned third place for the Knights.

The Bluejackets had eight wrestlers that were unbeaten in the section duals. Kyle Hay, Ty Torgerson, Adam Kelling, Brett Groves, Clayton Jennissen, Derek Swanson, Scott Gifford and Tony Nelson.
The Bluejackets had thirteen section place winners including five state qualifiers; Tony Nelson and Scott Gifford both won section championships and Tyler Tischer, Kyle Hay, Dalton Lilledahl all earned second place for their ticket to the state tourney. Derik Swanson, Adam Kelling, Landon Chumley, Sherwood McKinnis, Cody Glines and Jared Vincent all earned third place. Clayton Jennissen earned fourth place and Ty Torgerson took fifth place.
BUFFALO BISON
The Bison won their quarterfinal Section 8AAA dual over Sauk Rapids 45-21. They dropped their semifinal dual with St. Cloud Apollo 32-24. The Bison had four wrestlers that were 2-0 in the section duals. Mike Simeon, Zach Smith, David Baker and Tim Ruter.
The Bison had ten section place winners including four state qualifiers including David Baker, Mike Simeon and Tim Ruter all won section championships and Zac Smith earned second place for his trip to the state tourney. Cody Maus earned third place, Brady Maus, Jame Neddermeyer, Bruce Manz and Simon Kutzer all earned fourth place and Eric Bergman took fifth place.
MONTICELLO MAGIC
The Magic topped Albany in the preliminary dual of the Section 6AA tourney 50-16. The Magic dropped the quarterfinal dual to Rocori 39-32. The Magic had three wrestlers winning two matches at the section duals, including Tyler Mergen, Ben Schwartz and Randy Ascher.
The Magic had eight section place winners including one state qualifier including a section championship by Tyler Mergen. Ben Schwartz, Jake Schmitz, Jeremiah Erickson and Sabastion Gardner all earend fourth place. Randy Ascher took fifth place and Eric Bourgeois and Ryan Michaelis both took sixth place.
BECKER BULLDOGS
The Bulldogs topped Sartell in their preliminary dual in the Section 6AA tourney 51-24. They dropped their quarterfinal dual to Foley 51-15. The Bulldogs had three wrestlers that won two matches at the section duals including Jay Woiwor, Brady Schrupp and Kevin O’Brien.
The Bulldogs had four section place winners all state qualifiers. Jay Woiwor, Brady Schrupp and Kevin O’Brien all won section championships and Daniel Woiwor earned second place for his trip to the state tourney.
BIG LAKE HORNETS
The Hornets topped Willmar in their preliminary dual in the Section 6AA tourney 35-27. They dropped their quarterfinal dual to New London-Spicer 49-16. Matt Nelson, Dustin Rost and Andrew Bradley all won both of their matches at the section duals.
The Hornets had six section place winners including one section championship by Matt Nelson. Dalton Sonenstahl and Dustin Rost both earned third place and Dan Brown earned fourth place. Matt Weitzel and Andrew Bradley both took fifth place.
PRINCETON TIGERS
The Tigers topped Chisago Lakes in their preliminary dual in the Section 7AA dual Tourney 37-27. They dropped their quarterfinal dual to Milaca 55-13. Luke Belair, Adam Swenson and Bill Frank all won two matches in the section duals.
The Tigers had six section place winners including two state qualifiers, section champion Bill Frank and Adam Swenson earned second place for his trip to the state tourney. Karl Eichinger earned place and Zach Peterson, Joel Wiedeursch and Matt Edrazil all took fifth place.
ZIMMERMAN THUNDER
The Thunder dropped their preliminary dual in the Section 7AA tourney to North Branch 39-22.
The Thunder had four section place winners including two state qualifiers; section champion Jeff Nielsen and earning second place for his trip to the state tourney was Zach Stepen. Cole Tretbar and Andy Roelle both took fifth place.
ROGERS ROYALS
The Royals topped Minneapolis North 61-15 in their preliminary dual of the Section 5AA tourney. They dropped the quarterfinal dual to Orono 46-24.
The Royals had six section place winners including Mike Anderson, Kyle Zilke and Sam Hines all earned third place. Andrew List, Tyler Johnson and Jerrod Feist all earned fourth place.
WEST CENTRAL NORTH CONFERENCE
There were a total of 30 state qualifiers and 14 state place winners from the West Central North Conference.

The Mustangs had three wrestlers that won four matches; Andrew Youngblom, Blake Menard and Seth Sanftner. Ethan Purdy, Codie Lafromboise, Zane Van Vleet, Tyler Calrson were all 3-1 and Alex Dohms was 3-0 at the section duals.
The Mustangs had ten section place winners including four state qualifiers with four section championships by Andrew Youngblom, Seth Ganftner, Blake Menard and Cody LaFromboise. Derek Carlson and Alex Dohms both earned third place and Dusty Thorhauer and Tyler Carlson both earned fourth place. Jon Koehn and Ethen Purdy both took fifth place.
NEW LONDON-SPICER WILDCATS
The Wildcats topped Big Lake in their quarterfinal Section 6AA dual 49-16 and in the Semifinals they topped Dassel Cokato 40-25. They dropped their championship dual to Foley 44-15. Chase Austvold, Luke Reiter and John Nething were all 3-0 at the section duals.
The Wildcats had ten section place winners including four state qualifiers including one section championship by Chase Austvold. Luke Reiter, Billy and John Nething all earned second place for their trip to the state tourney. Shawn Hatlestad earned third place and Tom Duscher and Dylan Hanson both earned fourth place. Ben Henle took fifth place and Tanner Tobkin and Chris Pfau both sixth place.
MILACA WOLVES
The Wolves topped Princeton in their quarterfinal dual in the Section 7AA tourney 55-13 and Grand Rapids in the semifinals 55-7. They dropped their championship match to Mora 32-27. David Fradette, Ammoren Dohm and Ripp Baker were all 3-0 at the section duals.
The Wolves had twelve section place winners including seven state qualifiers; two section championships by David Fradette and Ammoren Dohm. Jake Moscho, John Crain, Keith Larson, Ripp Baker and Marshal Ash all earned second place for their trips to the state tourney. Jason Rogalla, Mike Kelley, Jordy Rogalla all earned third place, Jim Peterson earned fourth place and Jesse Warren took fifth place.
ALBANY HUSKIES
The Huskies dropped their preliminary dual in the Section 6AA tourney to Monticello 50-16.
The Huskies had six section place winner including two state qualifiers including to section championships by John Bredeck and Jamie Holt. Taylor Holthaus earned third place and Luke Holt earned fourth place. Brandon Panek took fifth place and Bryan Schlangen took sixth place.
LONG PRAIRIE-GREY EAGLE THUNDER
The Thunder dropped their preliminary dual in the Section 5A tourney to Howard Lake/Waverly/Winsted 44-20.
The Thunder have five section place winners including two state qualifiers as both Daniel Schad and Brian Reece earned second place. Thomas Haugen earned fourth place and Chris Whalen and Timber Holmquist both took fifth place. The Thunder had the misfortune just before the section tourney as Joseph Pesta suffered a season ending injury.
SAUK CENTRE MAINSTREETERS
The Mainstreeters dropped their preliminary dual in the Section 5A tourney to Holdingford 43-25.
The Mainstreeters had five section place winners including two section championships by John Gusewelle and Shane Trattles. Aaron Helgeson earned third place, Lucian Grow fourth place and Jacob Achen took fifth place.
MELROSE DUTCHMEN
The Dutchmen dropped their preliminary dual in the Section 6AA tourney to Rocori 78-4.
The Dutchmen had two section place winners; Donaldo Marinez earned second place and Colton Braun took sixth place.
WEST CENTRAL SOUTH CONFERENCE
There were a total of 27 state qualifiers and 12 state place winners from the West Central South Conference.

The Falcons had eleven section place winners including three state qualifiers; Micah Larson won the lone section championship and Travis Whitcomb and Hayden Rouser both earned second place. Travis Frederiksen, Scott Litzau, Matt Meyer and Mike Kramer all earned third place. Mathew Lee, Deron Buboltz and Dylan Nelson and Nate Meyer took fifth place.
YELLOW MEDICINE EAST STING
The Sting topped Benson in their quarterfinal dual in the Section 3A tourney 45-28 and in the semifinals they topped Minneota 34-21, before dropping the championship to Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunberg 45-16. The Sting had four wrestlers that won all three section matches including Justin Tangen, Austin Cole, Dylan Hoffman and Casey Field.
The Sting had nine section place winner including five state qualifiers; two section championships by Casey Field and Dylan Hoffman. Austin Cole, Evan Knudson and Evan Stock all earned second place for their trips to the state tourney. Derek Dyrdahl and Justin Tongen both earned third place, Levi Specht earned fourth place and Mason Hegna took fifth place.
BOLD WARRIORS
The Warriors topped Madelia-Truman in their quarterfinal dual in the Section 4A tourney 51-17 and in the semifinals they topped LeSueur-Henderson 41-23. They dropped the championship in a very good dual to Lake Crystal-Wellcome-Memorial 38-27. The Warriors had two wrestlers that won all three of their section matches including Alex Steffel and Dustin Caspers.
The Warriors had ten section place winners including three state qualifiers, section champion Cody Goldschmidt and Alex Steffel and Sam Steffel both earned second place for their trip to the state tourney. Kyle Schulte, Brent O’Halloran, Cody Hatch and Dustin Caspers all earned third place. Zack Revier, Andrew Brooks and Tyler Minkel all earned fourth place.
DAWSON-BOYD/LQPV
They topped Marshall in their quarterfinal dual in the Section 3AA tourney 53-13 and they dropped their semifinal dual to Windom Area 30-29. They had five wrestlers that won both of their section matches including Christian Olson, Zac Zinda, Matt Brahmer, Ryan Swenson and Sam Haas.
They had ten section place winners including four state qualifiers, including a pair of section championships by Ryan Swenson and Ryan Bothun. Sam Haas and Dylan Croatt both earned second place to earn their trip to the state tourney. Christian Olson, John Weeding and Zac Zinda all earned third place and Nathan Stottler, Jack Massee and Joe Hutt all took fifth place.
PAYNESVILLE BULLDOGS
The Bulldogs topped Holdingford in their quarterfinal dual in the Section 5A tourney 41-19 and they dropped a very close dual to Browerville/Eagle Valley 29-23. They had three wrestlers that won matches in both duals including Justin Wendlandt, Andrew Moser and Dominick Platow.
The Bulldogs had six section place winners including three state qualifiers; two section championships by Jon Kerzman and Dylan Sheridan. Justin Wendlandt earned second place for his trip to the state tourney and Andrew Moser earned third place. Tyler Hemmesch earned fourth place and Michael Doom took fifth place.
MINNEWASKA LAKERS
The Lakers topped Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa in their preliminary dual in the Section 5A tourney 39-23 and they dropped their quarterfinal dual in a very close match to Eden Valley-Watkins 35-34. The Lakers had five wrestlers that won both of their section matches including Jacob Braaten, Grant Winter, Collin Jergenson, David Cowen and Brandon Manderschied.
The Lakers had five section place winners including four state qualifiers; three section championships by Collin Jergenson, Brandon Manderscheid and David Cowen. Jacob Braaten earned second place for his trip to the state tourney and Cam Schafer earned third place.
MONTEVIDEO THUNDER HAWKS
The Thunder Hawks dropped their preliminary dual to Marshall in the Section 3AA tourney 48-21.
The Thunder Hawks had three section place winners including one state qualifier Josh Anderson. Thomas Joyce earned third place and Tim Mecziewski earned fourth place.
MORRIS AREA/HANCOCK/CA TIGERS
The Tigers dropped their preliminary dual to MACCRAY in the Section 3A tourney 42-24.
The Tigers had three section place winners including Eric Goette earned third place, Josh Nelson earned fourth place and Tony Dominick took fifth place.

BRAINERD WARRIORS
The Warriors topped St. Cloud Tech in quarterfinals 40-24 and Alexandria 31-28 in the semifinals of the Section 8AAA tourney. They dropped the championship dual to St. Cloud Apollo 39-25. The Warriors had four wrestlers that won all three matches at the section duals, including; Chad Ohman, Sam Pagel, Jessen Franzen and Brandon Mutz.
The Warriors had ten section place winners including five state qualifiers; section champions Brandon Mutz and Mack Glasby and Chad Ohman, Luke Boran and Andrew Wachsmuth all earned second place. Nick Grausum, Jesse Frazen and Tyler Kohlmeier all earned third place.
ALEXANDRIA CARDINALS
The Cardinals topped Moorhead in the quarterfinals of the section 8AAA tourney 56-19 before falling to Brainerd in a very close dual 31-28. Five Cardinal wrestlers won both of their matches, they were; Adam Klinkner, Josh Hobbs, Lucas Betterman, Tom Bouressa and Charlie Kirscht.
The Cardinals had ten section place winners including six state qualifiers, section championships by Tom Bouressa, Charlie Kirscht and Josh Betterman. Taylor Morical, Josh Hobbs and Adam Partick all earned second place. Lucas Betterman earned fourth place, Cole Ellison, Adam Klinkner and Isaac Meyer all took fifth place.
LITTLE FALLS FLYERS
The Flyers topped Pequot Lakes/Pine River/Backus in the quarterfinals of the Section 8AA tourney 43-30, before dropping their semifinal to Thief River Falls 52-21. Cody Bue and Brandon Hiemenz won both matches at the section duals.
The Flyer had nine section place winner including four state place winners including on section champion Cody Bue. Frank Wilczek, Charlie Wilczek, Dillon Kifer all earned second place for their trip to the state tourney. Samuel Marcus, and Derik Jendro both earned third place. Bryant Bue earned fourth place and Austin Scherping and Eric Hegne both took fifth place.
FERGUS FALLS OTTERS
The Otters dropped their preliminary dual to Pequot Lakes/Pine River/Backus 38-36 in a very tight dual.
The Otters had nine section place winners including three state qualifiers; section champion Colton Thorson and second place for both Josh Campion and Jordan Ringquist for their trips to the state tourney. Alex Hensch, Ryan Jacobson and Tyler Giza all earned third place. Jesse Laugen earned fourth place and two fifths by Dustin Teberg and Matt Laugen.
ROCORI SPARTANS
The Spartans topped Melrose in their preliminary dual 78-4 and Monticello 39-32 in the quarterfinals of the Section 6AA tourney. They fall to top ranked Foley in the semifinals 67-3. Marcus Hammer won both all three of his matches at the section duals.
The Spartans had six section place winners including one state qualifier; Jeremiah Dorf earned second for his trip to the state. Ben Wittrock, Dylan Gertken and Chris Braun all earned fifth place and Alex Weiman and Cameron Hansen both took sixth place.
ST. CLOUD TECH TIGERS
The Tigers dropped their quarterfinal dual to Brainerd in the Section 8AAA tourney 40-24.

The Huskiers topped Sauk Centre in their preliminary dual of the Section 5A tourney 43-25, before falling to Paynesville 41-19 in the quarterfinals. Four Huskier wrestlers won both of their matches including John Scepaniak, Luke Doll, Derek Scott and Devin Scott.

The Gobblers topped Saint Croix Lutheran in their quarterfinal dual in the section 7A tourney and in the semifinals they topped Trinity of River Ridge 48-12. They had six wrestlers win all three matches in their section duals; Travis Bare, Keith Wasserzieher, Jordan Chounard, Dalton Stevens, Taylor Thomas-Bitker and Travis Truenge.
