WEST CENTRAL NORTH CONFERENCE

There were a total of 25 state qualifiers and 14 state place winners; two champions from the West Central North Conference.

The Falcons had seven wrestlers win three matches at their section duals; Keith Thell, Mitch Dunlap, Taylor Rothfork, Brandon Seppelt, Zach Jackson, Justin Bowland and Tyler Lewandowski.

The Falcons had fourteen section place winner including nine state qualifiers including section championships by Brandon Seppelt, Zach Jackson, Keith Thell, Tyler Lewandowski, Taylor Lewandowski and Justin Bowland. Tyler Bemboom, Mark Gehling and Mitch Dunlap all earned second place for their trip to the state tourney. Sam Keeler, Taylor Rothfork and Will Sustercich all earned third place. Matt Beehler and Jordan Bialke both earned fifth place for the Falcons.

The Wolves had six wrestlers win three matches at the section duals; Joey Curtis, Jonah Gahn, Jordy Rogallo, Jake Earl, Ripp Baker and Marshall Ash.

The Wolves had twelve section place winners including six state qualifiers, including four section champion; Mike Kelly, Joey Curtis, Ripp Baker and Marshal Ash. Jonah Gahn and Justin Ladehoff both earned second for their trip to the state tourney. Joe Hemmerich, Clinton Sampson and Jason Rogalla earned third place. John Crain, Jordy Rogalla and Joe Moscho all earned fourth place.

NEW LONDON-SPICER WILDCATS

The Wildcats topped Litchfield in their quarterfinal Section 6AA dual 57-13 and in the Semifinals they topped Dassel-Cokato 34-30. They dropped their Section 6AA Championship dual to Foley 36-19. Chase Austvold, Dylan Hanson, Shaw Hatlestad and John Nething were all 3-0 at the section duals.

The Wildcats had ten section place winners including two state qualifiers; one section championship by Shawn Hatlestad and John Nething earned second place to earn his trip to the state tourney. Chris Pfau, Zach Borka, Tom Duscher and Dylan Hanson all earned third place. Logan Brink and Ben Henle both earned fourth place; Treyton Austvold earned fifth place and David Nething  took sixth place.

MORA MUSTANGS

The Mustangs topped Chisago Lakes in their quarterfinal Section 7AA dual 36-21 and in the Semifinals they topped Hibbing 36-26. They dropped their Section 7AA Championship dual to Milaca 34-22. Seth Saftner, Blake Menard and Derek Carlson were all 3-0 at the section duals.

The Mustangs had nine section place winners including three state qualifiers; one section championship by Andrew Youngblom and Derek Carlson and Blake Menard both earned second place to earn their trip to the state tourney. Tyler Carlson, Seth Sanftner and Dusty Thorhauer all earned third place and Nick Muehlberg earned fourth place. Zan Van Vleet earned fifth place and Codie LaFromboise took sixth place.

SAUK CENTRE MAINSTREETERS

The Mainstreeters dropped their preliminary section 5A dual to Holdingford 47-21. They had four section place winners; including two section championships by John Gusewelle and Lucian Grow. Shane Trattles earned fourth place and Tom Latzka took sixth place.

ALBANY HUSKIES

The Huskies dropped their preliminary section 6AA dual to Becker 54-15. They had five section place winners including one section championship by Jamie Holt. Bryan Schlangen, Phillip Maus and Eric Schmidt all earned fourth place and Luke Holt took fifth place.

MELROSE DUTCHMEN

The Dutchmen dropped their preliminary section 6AA dual to Big Lake 64-15. They had four section place winners including one section runnerup Donaldo Martinez. Kris Wensmann earned third place, and Marcus Hemker and Colton Braun both took sixth place.

LONG PRAIRIE-GREY EAGLE THUNDER

The Thunder dropped their preliminary section 5A dual to Osakis 70-12. They had three section place winners including Timber Holmquist earned fourth place and Kyle Middendorf and Mitch Zastrow both took sixth place.


WEST CENTRAL SOUTH CONFERENCE

There were a total of 26 state qualifiers and 8 state place winners; including three state champions from the West Central South Conference.

The Bulldogs had four wrestlers that were 3-0 at the Section 5A duals; Devin Meagher, Clay Spanier, Matt Doom and Michael Doom.

The Bulldogs had ten section place winners three state qualifiers; section champion Micheal Doom and earning second place were Andrew Moser and Matt Doom. Three  wrestlers; Justin Wendlandt, Trevor Spanier and Dominick Platow all earned fourth place.  Brent Schlangen, Josh Hiepler, Trent Piepenburg and Cole Woehler all earned fifth place.

ATWATER-COSMOS-GROVE CITY FALCONS

The Falcons topped Browerville-Eagle Valley in their quarterfinal Section 5A dual 60-16 and in the Semifinals they topped Kimball 40-20. In the championship they were surprised by Paynesville as they dropped the final 33-22. They had four wrestlers; Hayden Rouser, Matt Lee, Larry Bomstad and Matt Meyer that were all 3-0 at the section duals.

The Falcons had twelve section place winners including six state qualifiers; two section championships by Dylan Nelson and Larry Bomstad. Four earned second place for their trip to the state; Ryan Larson, Matt Lee, Hayden Rouser and Logan Peterson. They had a pair of wrestlers earn third place; Michael Kramer and Matt Meyer. James Nelson earned fourth place and Tyler Berghuis and Nate Meyer earned fifth place and Lucas Damm took sixth place.

BOLD WARRIORS

The Warriors topped Canby in their quarterfinal Section 3A dual 45-14; the fell short in their semifinal dual to Kerkhoven-Murdock-Sunburg 35-19. They had five wrestlers: Ricky Morales, Brent O‘Halloran, Alex Steffel, Cody Hatch and Dustin Caspers that were 2-0 in the section duals.

The Warriors had eleven section place winners including four state qualifiers; two won section championships; Dustin Caspers and Jacob Revier. Alex Steffel and Cody Hatch both earned second place for to earn their trip to the state tourney. Kyle Schulte and Zach Revier both earned third place and Brent O’Hallaran and Tyler Minkel both earned fourth place. Alex Hatch earned fifth place and Logan Erickson and Ricky Morales both took sixth place.

DAWSON-BOYD/LQPV UNITED

The United topped Marshall in their quarterfinal Section 3AA dual 67-9; before dropping their semifinal dual to Windom Area 35-27. J. D. Struxness, Sam Hass, Jake Bothun, Ryan Swenson, Dylan Croatt and John Weeding all were 2-0 in their section duals.

The United had nine section place winners including four state qualifiers; section championships by Ryan Swenson, Jake Bothun, Sam Haas and John Weeding. They had five wrestlers that had very impressive tourneys as they all earned third place; Christian Olson, J. D. Struxness, Dylan Croatt, Codie Weeding and Garth Oshendorf.

YELLOW MEDICINE EAST STING

The Sting dropped their quarterfinal Section 3A dual to Pipestone Area 45-21. They had eight section place winners including three state qualifiers. Section championship by Justin Tongen and Dylan Hoffman and Evan Knudson both earned second place to their trip to the state tourney. Derek Dydahl earned third place and earning fourth places were; Cody Sander, Dustin Baker and Mason Hegna. Tim Savig and Holdyn Sand both took fifth place for the Sting.

BENSON BRAVES

The Braves had nine section place winners including four state qualifiers; section championships by Ryan Thompson and Brady Wersinger and a pair of seconds by Matt Plumhoff and David Tweten. Morgan Staton earned third place; Jesse Landebrek and Brandon Hansen both earned fifth place. The Braves had two wrestlers take sixth place; Josh Frantzel and Tyler Jensen.

MINNEWASKA LAKERS

The Lakers had six section place winner including three state qualifiers; section champion Brandon Manderschied and Cam Schafer and Grant Winter both earned second place for their trip to the state. Jacob Braaten and Pat Krueger both earned fourth place and Hunter Wollschager took sixth place.

MONTEVIDEO THUNDER HAWKS

The Thunder  dropped their preliminary Section 3AA dual to Marshall 59-24. They had two section place winners including; Isaac Suflow earned fourth place and Mitch Kwillinski earned fifth place.

MORRIS AREA/HANCOCK/CHOKIO-ALBERTA TIGERS

The Tigers dropped their preliminary Section 3AA dual to Tracy-Milroy-Balaton 46-21. They had seven section place winners including; Eric Goete and Tim Ostby both earning third place and Zach Gibson and Tony Domnick both earned fourth place. Wade Feuchtenberger and Jeff Knoblach both earned fifth place and Tanner Berning took sixth place.


MISSISSIPPI 8 CONFERENCE

There were 25 State  Qualifiers and 12 State places including one state champion from the Mississippi 8 Conference.

The Knights had seven wrestlers win all three section duals; including Wayne Voss, Jake Lillie, Jordan Campa, Shaun Little, Kraig Schumm, Michael Kessler and Parker Betts.

The Knights had fourteen section place winners including ten state qualifiers; including six section championships by Parker Betts, Kraig Schumm, Jordan Campa, Cole Sladek, Lincoln Mallinger and Jake Lillie.  Earning second place and a trip to the state tourney were; Ben Horn, Shaun Little, Ryan Kessler and Wayne Voss. Lucas Martin earned third place, Kyle Salonek and Tyler Berhow both earned fourth place and Michael Lindquist took fifth place.

MONTICELLO MAGIC

The Magic topped Benilde-Saint Margarets in their quarterfinal dual in Section 5AA 63-13 and in the Semifinals they topped Orono 57-6. They came up just short in their quest for a Section 5AA championship as they lost to Totino Grace 33-32. Eric Bourgeois, Jacob Kohler, Jake Schmitz, Tyler Mergen and Jacob Barker all were 3-0 in the section duals.

The Magic had twelve section place winners including four section championships by; Tyler Mergen, Sebastian Gardner, Eric Bourgeois and Jake Schmitz. Earning second place and a trip to the state were; Jacob Barker, Logan Drack, Jacob Kohler, Zach Beaumaster, Carter Barnes and Jake Jude. Earned third place was Randy Ascher and taking sixth place was Jake Berthiaume.

CAMBRIDGE-ISANTI BLUE JACKETS

The Blue Jackets were forced to withdraw from the section dual meet competition because of some skin issues.

The Blue Jackets had ten section place winners including two state qualifiers; Scott Gifford and Clayton Jennissen both earned second place. Seth Woodwiss and Adam Kelling both earned third place and Derek Swanson, Sherwood McKinnis and Landon Chumley all earned fourth place. Cody Glines and Mark Voker both earned fifth place and Cody Reilly and Ty Torgenson both took sixth place.

BIG LAKE HORNETS

The Hornets topped Melrose in their preliminary section 6AA dual 64-15 and they dropped their quarterfinal dual to Dassel-Cokato 42-2. Josiah Brown, Matt Nelson and Dylan Thao all were 2-0 in the section duals.

The Hornets had seven section place winners including one state qualifier; section champion Matt Nelson. Matt Weitzel earned fourth place, Ben McCormick, Deven Donais and Dylan Thao all earned fifth place. Cory Reed and Andrew Prosser both took sixth place in the section.

PRINCETON TIGERS

The Tigers dropped their preliminary Section 7AA dual to Chisago Lakes 43-20. The Tigers had eight section place winners; Adam Swenson earned third place, Zach Peterson, Matt Zdrazil and Karl Eichinger all earned fifth place. Cory Messer, Billy McClay, Luke Belair and Levi Cuny all took sixth place.

ZIMMERMAN THUNDER

The Thunder topped Meadow Creek/Spectrum in their quarterfinal dual in Section 5AA 53-15. They dropped their semifinal dual to Totino Grace 54-15. Carter Nielsen, Zach Stepan and Jeff Nielsen all were 2-0 in the section duals.

The Thunder had ten section place winners including two section qualifiers, Including; a section championship by Jeff Nielsen and earning second place for his trip to the state tourney was Zach Stepan. Earning third place was Carter Nielson and earning fourth place was Hunter Smith, Mike Robinson and Zach Copie. Earning fifth place was Quinn Rassmussen, Mitch Robinson and Travis Culbertson and taking sixth place was Takuna Padila.

BECKER BULLDOGS

The Bulldogs topped Albany in their Section 6AA preliminary Section dual 54-15 and they dropped their quarterfinal dual to Foley 77-0. They had five section place winners including; Matt Sadlowsky and Mike Soule both earned fourth place and Jake Toedter and Colten Uekved both earned fifth place. Cory Nelson took sixth place for the Bulldogs at the Section 6AA individual tournament.

BUFFALO BISON

The Bison dropped their preliminary section 8AAA dual to Bemidji 47-21. They had six section place winners including one state qualifier; section champion Timmy Rutter. Mike Simeon and Tanner Robasse both earned third place and Tanner Maas and Lucas Mock both earned fifth place and Cedric Jimenez took sixth place.

ROGERS ROYALS

The Royals dropped their Section 5AA preliminary dual to Fridley 39-34. They had six section place winners, including; Clay Levasseur earned third place, and Thomas Kwilkowski, Kyle Zilke, LoganSmith, Tim Bech and Jerrod Feist all took sixth place.


CENTRAL LAKES CONFERENCE

There were a total of 28 state qualifiers and 6 state place winners; one champions from the Central Lakes Conference.

EDEN VALLEY-WATKINS EAGLES

The Eagles topped Howard Lake/Waverley/Winsted in their quarterfinal section 5A dual 55-13 and they dropped their semifinal dual to Paynesville 35-18. They had four wrestlers that were 2-0 in the section duals; Jeff Dockendorf, Jacob Forcier, Mike Dounham and Joe Holdvogt.

The Eagles had ten section place winners including two state qualifiers including one section championship by Jacob Forcier. Joe Holdvogt earned second place for his ticket to the state tourney. Mike Downham and Shaun Mattsen both earned third place and Brandon Walz earned fourth place. Jeff Dockendorf, Blaine Meierhofer, Tyler Magedanz and Jacob Asfeld all earned fifth place and Jaron Faber took sixth place.

PIERZ PIONEERS

The Pioneers topped Crosby-Ironton in their quarterfinal section 7A dual 61-18 and they dropped their semifinal dual to Royalton 36-28. They had six wrestlers that were 2-0 in the section dual; Chris Ortman, Brad Meyer, Brad Meyer, Josh Lanners, Clint Poster, Nathan Tomala and Sean Huls.

The Pioneers had eleven section place winners including six state qualifiers, including four section championships by Dylan Peterson, Sean Huls, Clint Poster and Nathan Tomala. Chris Ortman and Brad Meyer both earned second place to punch their ticket to the state tourney. Brett Brausen and Josh Lanners both earned third place and Cody Vanzee, Brandon Sullivan and Nick Lochner both earned fourth place.

ROYALTON ROYALS

The Royals topped St. Paul Humbolt in their quarterfinal section 7A dual 60-13 and Pierz in the semifinals 36-28. They dropped the championship dual to Mille Lacs 46-19. They had two wrestlers that were 3-0 in the section duals; Mitch Lange and Ryan Brady.

The Royals had thirteen section place winners including five state qualifiers; three section championships by Andy Poster, Odin Guerard and Ryan Brady. Mitch Lange and Andrew Plumski both earned second place for their trip to the state tourney.  Dan Borash and Kyle Wentland both earned third place and Kyle Billmeyer, Dan Moulzoff, Tyler Celbulla and Cody Boody all earned fourth place. Tom Averill and BrianSchlichting both earned fifth place at the section 7A individual tournament.

KIMBALL CUBS

The Cubs topped Osakis in their quarterfinal section 5A dual 51-18 and they dropped their semifinal dual to Atwater-Cosmos-Grove City 40-20. They had five wrestlers that were 2-0 in the section duals; Marcus Hamer, Tanner Mills, Mitch Pramann, David Joseph and Alex Thurber.

The Cubs had nine section place winners including five state qualifiers, including three section championships by; Marcus Hamer, Tanner Mills and Caramon Hansen. Jordan Joseph and Travis Schiefelbein both earned second place for their trip to the state tourney. Tyler Kuechle, David Joseph and Alex Thurber  both earned third place and Mitch Pramann took sixth place.

HOLDINGFORD HUSKERS

The Huskers topped Sauk Centre 47-21 in their section 5A preliminary dual and in the quarterfinal dual they lost to Paynesville 37-19. They had six wrestlers that were 2-0 in the section duals; Bryce Feia, Adam Lane, Derek Scott, Mike Jarnot, Victor Lumley and John Scepaniak.

The Huskers had five section place winners and two state qualifier including on section championship by Mike Jarnot. Victor Lumley earned second place for his ticket to the state tournament. Brady Hedlund, John Scepaniak and Derek Scott all earned third place.

BELGRADE-BROOTEN-ELROSA JAGUARS

The Jaguars dropped their section 5A preliminary dual to Browerville/Eagle Valley 49-22. They had eight section place winners including two state qualifiers, including two section championships by Travis Winter and Cole Tensen. Brent Goodenbour and Ross Rath earned third place and Patrick Rooney earned fourth place. Dillan Knutson and Ben Borgerding both earned fifth place and Tyler Tensen took sixth place.

ROCKFORD ROCKETS

The Rockets dropped their section 5AA quarterfinal dual to Benilde-St. Margaret 63-16. They had five section place winners including one section championship by Andrew Patnode. Adam Patnode, John Redepenning and Adam Jakubowksi all earned third place and Ty Griffin earned fourth place.

HOWARD LAKE/WAVERLY/WINSTED LAKERS

The Lakers dropped their quarterfinal section 5A dual to Eden Valley-Watkins 55-13. They had five section place winners including: Matt Marketon earned fifth place and Joel Koch, Brandon Maas, Chris Cox and Jacob Demarais all took sixth place.

The Eagles had five wrestlers that won all three matches in the Section 8AAA duals; including; Grant Dullinger, Mitch Bengtson, Nam Nguyen David Then and Chris Rocheleau.

The Eagles had ten section place winners including six state qualifiers, four section championships by Mitch Bengtson, Nam Nquyen, Nolan Rial and Chris Rocheleau. Grant Dullinger and Grant Nehring both earned second place for their trip to the state tourney. Sam Keotter and David Then both earned third place, Clayton Athman earned fourth place and Alex Lawwell took sixth place.

BRAINERD WARRIORS

The Warriors topped St. Cloud Tech in their quarterfinal section 8AAA dual 50-13 and in the semifinals they topped Sauk Rapids 36-24. They dropped the section championship to St. Cloud Apollo 42-24. The Warriors had three wrestlers that were 3-0 in the section duals; including Aaron Padrnos, Jessen Franzen and Nate Adams.

The Warriors had eleven section place winners including five state qualifiers; that included one section championship by Chad Ohman and second places were earned by Sam Pagel, Tyler Kohlmeir, Mack Glasby and Aaron Padrnos. Bryton Muntz, Luke Boran, Nick Grausam and Jessen Franzen all earned third places. Levi Rubin earned fifth place and Kory Anderson took sixth place.

FERGUS FALLS OTTERS

The Otters topped Pequot Lakes/Pine River-Backus in their quarterfinal Section 8AA dual 63-10 and they dropped their semifinal dual to Thief River Falls 41-30. They had three wrestlers that were 2-0 in their section duals; Tyler Giza, Alex Hensch and Colton Thorson.

The Otters had eleven section place winners including five state qualifiers; including three section championships by Colton Thorson, Dan Revering and Tyler Giza. Abbott Aho and Alex Hensch both earned second place for their ticket to the state tourney. Jesse Laugen and Bryant Marquent both earned third place and Matt Laugen and Tyler Garding both earned fourth place. Derek Teberg and Alex Johnson both earned fifth place and Harvey McMahon took sixth place.

LITTLE FALLS FLYERS

The Flyers topped Annandale/Maple Lake in the quarterfinals of their Section 6AA dual 45-25 and they dropped their semifinal dual to Foley 50-15. The Flyers had three wrestlers that were 2-0 in the section duals; Dillon Kifer, Cody Bue and Brandon Hiemenz.

The Flyers had twelve section place winners including one state qualifier; section champion Dillon Kifer. Cody Bue, Frank Wilczek and Joe Tuholsky all earned third place and Brandon Hiemenz, Austin Scherping and Connor Scherping all earned fourth place. Derik Jendro and Eric Hegna both earned fifth place and Bryant Bue, Zack Clark and Dilan Gastecki all took sixth place.

WILLMAR CARDINALS

The Cardinals topped Moorhead in their quarterfinal Section 8AAA dual 36-31 and they dropped their semifinal dual to St. Cloud Apollo 45-26. They had four wrestlers that were 2-0 in their section duals; Seth Pollock, Adam Fagerstrom, Coty Milhausen and Nathan Swoyer.

The Cardinals had eight section place winners including four state qualifiers; including section champion Seth Pollock and those earning second place were; Alex Johannes, Adam Fagerstrom and Nathan Swoyer all punched their ticket to the state tourney. Coty Milhausen earned third place, Nathanial Mittag and Eugene Stefan all earned fifth place and Cass Herzog took sixth place.

SAUK RAPIDS STORM

The Storm topped Rocori in their quarterfinal section 8AAA dual 41-27 and they dropped their semifinal dual to Brainerd 36-24. They had four wrestlers that were 2-0 in the section duals; Eric Olson, Mitch Mehrwerth, Shane Fesenmaier and Caleb Studenski.

The Storm had eleven section place winners including three state qualifiers; a pair of section championships by Shane Fensenmaier and Erik Olson and Austin Walz earned second place for his ticket to the state tourney. Ryan Medlen earned third place, Tyler Rudy, Caleb Studenski and Stephen Bucholz all earned fourth place. Mitch Merhwerth and Tyler Diedrich both earned fifth place and Joe Myerchin and Joe Lamacher took sixth place.

The Spartans dropped their quarterfinal section 8AAA dual to Sauk Rapids 41-27. They had six section place winners including; Alex Weiman and Levi Olivier both earned third place. Jordan Hemmesh and Ben Wittrock both earned fourth place and Tim Soldner and Kyle Lieser both earned fifth place.

SAINT CLOUD TECH TIGERS

The Tigers topped Alexandria in their preliminary Section 8AAA dual 44-30 and they dropped their quarterfinal dual to Brainerd 50-13. They had two wrestlers that were 2-0 in the section duals; Tommy O’Brien and Dieter Brenner.

The Tigers had eight section place winners including one state qualifier; section champion Tommy O’Brien. Shane Kellner, Bryant Amundson, Peter Kalla, Dieter Brenner and Nate Lortz all earned fourth place. Bennett Johnson, Jesse Johnson and Jerrad Nieland all earned fifth place and Brady Brouwer took sixth place.

ALEXANDRIA CARDINALS

The Cardinals dropped their preliminary section 8AAA dual to St. Cloud Tech 44-30. They had six section place winners including three state qualifiers; earning second place was Lucas Betterman, Dalton Frovarp and Ross Carlson. Kyle Fulghum earned third place and Cole Ellison and Anthony Hubbard both earned fifth place.

SARTELL SABRES

The Sabres dropped their section 6AA preliminary dual to Litchfield 63-12. The Sabres had one section place winner; Daniel Vitale. Daniel earned fourth place at the section 6AA individual tournament.

The Fighting Saints had thirteen section place winners including four state qualifiers; a pair of section championships by Joel Bauman and Kurt Timmons. Jordan Rothers and Klinton VanHeuveln both earned second place for their ticket to the state tourney. Aaron Doraska earned third place and Trevor Mahlum, Tyler Carlson and Frederik Lorentzen all earned fourth place. Matt Stassen, Myrvan Halleland and Kyle Baker all earned fifth place and Zack Carlson, JessieEngler and Cassey Krieger all took sixth place.

DASSEL-COKATO CHARGERS

The Chargers topped Big Lake in their quarterfinal section 6AA dual 42-22 and they dropped their semifinal dual to New London-Spicer 34-30. They had six wrestlers that were 2-0 at the section duals; Sam Pokornowski, Dakota Hanson, Tyler Irvin, Zach Peterson, Brandon Fiedler and Max Anderson.

The Chargers had ten section place winners including five state qualifiers; Max Anderson, Brandon Fiedler and Sam Pokornowski all were section champions. Tyler Irvin and Dakota Hanson both earned second place for their trip to the state tourney. Kyle Johnson and Tyler Dobmeier both earned third place and Dan Wanha and Zach Peterson both earned fourth place. Grant Peterson took sixth place at the section 6AA individual tournament.

ELK RIVER ELKS

The Elks topped Anoka in their quarterfinal section 8AAA dual 28-21 and they dropped their semifinal dual to Saint Michael-Albertville 52-9. They had three wrestlers that were 2-0 at the second duals; Tyler Stevens, Eric Stevens and Holton Lubinski.

The Elks had nine section place winners including two state qualifiers; Eric Stevens and Tyler Stevens both earned second places.  Jory Lubinski, Holton Lubinski, Jake Staffenhagen and Austin Stevens all earned third place and Mitch Beaudy earned fourth place. Evan Coldon earned fifth place and Kyle Wieman took sixth place at the section 8AAA individual tournament.

STAPLE-MOTLEY CARDINALS

The Cardinals topped Roseau in their quarterfinal section 8AA dual meet 61-13 and they lost their semifinal in a very close dual to Perham 32-31. They had five wrestlers that were 2-0 at the section duals; Jordan Heldman, Sam Duberowski, Jordan Benson, Dylan Shequen and Blake Petrich.

They had twelve section place winners including four state qualifiers; including section champions Jordan Bendson and Dylan Shequen. Ryan Detloff and Blake Petrich both earned second place to punch their ticket to the state tourney. Taylor Bendson, Brent Lisson, Sam Dubarowski and Blake Miller all earned third place and Jordan Heldman earned fourth place. Brady Killian and David DeYonge both earned fifth place and Brandon Flickinger took sixth place.

CHISAGO LAKES WILDCATS

The Wildcats topped Princeton in their preliminary section 7AA dual 43-20 and they lost their quarterfinal dual to Mora 36-21. They had four wrestlers that were 2-0 at the section duals; Mark Sontag, Quade Zupko, Joe Virga and Travis Kammerer.

The Wildcats had ten section place winners including three state qualifiers including two section champions; Travis Kammerer and Clay Olson. Quade Zupko earned second place to punch his ticket to the state tournament. Jake Nase and Dylan Hoyt both earned fourth place and Bobby Sontag and JoeVirga both earned fifth place. The Buccaneers were defeated in their state quarterfinal dual by Jackson County Central 49-22 and in their Consolation dual by Lake Crystal-Wellcome-Memorial 38-22. Gus McCarthy, Mitch Andrews and Will McCarthy were all 2-0 in the state duals.

The Buccaneers had thirteen section place winners including four state qualifiers, including three section champions; Gus McCarthy, Will McCarthy and Mitch Andrews. The Lightning dropped their quarterfinal dual of the section 6AA tourney to Little Falls 45-25. They had eight section place winners including five state qualifiers; including one section championship by Jordan Hanan. Jesse Punchocar, Matt Fuller, Peter Nordlie and Chris Salveson all earned second place. Teddy Erickson and Alex Couette both earned fifth place and Cal Redemske took sixth place.

MOORHEAD SPUDS

The Spuds dropped their quarterfinal dual in the section 8AAA tournament to Willmar 36-31. They had ten section place winners including three state qualifiers; two were section champions; Ben Gaughan and Mark Wychor. Chase Morlock earned second place to punch his ticket to the state tournament. Jacob Rositas earned third place, Nick Langeberg and Jacob Throwbridge both earned fifth place. WEST CENTRAL AREA KNIGHTS

The Knights topped Ottertail Central in their quarterfinal section 6A dual 34-33 and they dropped their semifinal dual to Border West 42-30. They had five wrestlers that were 2-0 in the section duals; Seth Felland, Aaron Ray, Jake Long, Jon Pikop and Justin Harstad.

The Vikings had six section place winners including four state qualifiers including a pair of section championships by John Morrison and Jake Kostik. The Wolverines dropped their quarterfinal section 6A dual to Bertha-Hewitt/Verndale 36-33. The Lumberjacks topped Buffalo in the preliminary dual of the section 8AAA tourney 47-21 and they dropped their quarterfinal dual to St. Cloud Apollo 53-15. They had three wrestlers that were 2-0; Craig Maas, Corey Huber and Alex Johnson.

The Lumberjacks had five section place winners including two state qualifiers; a pair of section championships by Corey Huber and Dale Norton. Logan Crosby and Jake Crosby both earned fourth place and Craig Maas and Kade Johnson both took sixth place.

The Rangers dropped their quarterfinal section 7A dual to Pierz 61-18. The Road Crew topped United Cass/Becker in their preliminary section 8AA dual 39-34 and they dropped their quarterfinal dual to Fergus Falls 63-10. They had three wrestlers that were 2-0 in the section duals; Drey Loge, Peter Harrison and Chris Harrison.

The Road Crew had four section place winners including three state qualifiers; pair of section championships by Peter Harrison and Levi Allen. Christian Harrison earned second place for his ticket to the state tourney and Drey Loge earned fourth place.

BRECKENRIDGE COWBOYS

The Cowboys dropped their preliminary section 6A dual to Barnesville 51-27. They had seven section place winners including two state qualifiers; including a pair of section championships by Stephen Erlandson and Greg Erlandson. The Broncos had seven section place winners including two state qualifiers; one section championship by Travis Borchert and Randy Shamp earned second place. Adam Sutlief and Brad Schettler both earned fourth place and Preston Irsfeld and Lucas Kalina both took sixth place.

The Silverstreaks topped Long Prairie-Grey Eagle in their section 5A preliminary dual 70-12 and they dropped the quarterfinal dual to Kimball 51-18. They had three wrestlers that were 2-0 in the section duals; Derek Stoetzel, Cole Erie and Cody Torkelson.

The Silverstreaks had five section place winners including one state qualifier; Cody Torkelson earned second place. Cole Erie earned third place, Derek Stoetzel and Austin Collins both earned fourth place and Chris Ludwig took sixth place.

BERHTA-HEWITT/VERNDALE RAIDERS

The Raiders topped Wadena-Deer Creek in their quarterfinal section 6A dual 36-33 and they dropped their semifinal dual to New York Mills 54-16. They had three wrestlers that were 2-0 in the section duals; Dakota Aeling, Jake Braaten and Amos Schmidt.

PARKERS PRAIRIE PANTHERS

The Panthers topped Pelican Rapids in their preliminary section 6A dual 42-40 and they dropped their quarterfinal dual to Border West 63-12. They had two wrestlers that were 2-0 in their section duals; Ryan Harris and Tyler Walsh.

The Panthers had five section place winners including two section championships by Kevin Hahn and Tyler Walsh. Ryan Silbernick and Ryan Harris earned second place to punch their ticket to the state tourney. Tyler Schlosser earned fifth place at the section 6A individual tournament.

The Jaguars had four section place winners; Cody Hanson earned third place, Keegan Edgerton and Brett Skattum both earned fourth place and Cooper Blau earned fifth place.

CLOQUET LUMBERJACKS

The Lumberjacks dropped their section 7AA preliminary dual to Deer River 66-10. They had three section place winners; Cody Hraban earned fourth place, Jake Baker earned fifth place and Reid Bourchardt took sixth place.
