- notes: In what has to be one of the most exciting
matches of the season, 1999 Class AA State Champion, Nate
Baker defeated 1999 Class AAA State Champion Bryan
Cowdin. The first period was a flurry of action with
Baker getting the opening takedown, Cowdin reversed him,
then Baker escaped to lead 3-2 at the end of one. Cowdin
took down and escaped to tie it at 3 in the second. Baker
took the lead back for good with a reversal and near fall
in the third.
