About Coach Sean Ahrar:
Coach Ahrar coached his first St. Olaf wrestling squad in the winter of 2005-06. Ahrar spent 2004-05 as the head coach at Dakota Wesleyan in Mitchell, S.D., leading seven Tigers to the NAIA National Championships and producing two Great Plains Athletic Conference Champions and one Region Champion. A native of Iran, Ahrar spent two seasons at Carleton earning the MIAC's coach of the year in 2003 before the program was eliminated.
He coached internationally and at the high school level for six years prior to taking the position at Carleton. Ahrar, a 1992 Minnesota State University-Mankato graduate, has a bachelor's degree in English literature and a minor in speech communications. He was a varsity wrestler at Mankato as well as the 1988 Men's National Collegiate Olympic Weightlifting Champion. He earned a master's degree in management from the College of St. Scholastica in June of 2004.

Coach Ahrar's Private Technique Lessons
Private Lesson Dates and Times:
All Summer - June 1st to August 31st, Monday through Friday, as arranged by Coach Ahrar and students. Private wrestling technique lessons are provided to groups of 2 and 4, by weekly appointment only.
Camp Costs:

Parental Consent
I hereby grant permission for my son/daughter to attend Coach Ahrar's Private Technique Lessons. I also grant permission to St. Olaf College Wrestling to act for me according to their best judgment in any emergency requiring medical attention and hereby waive and release the camp from any and all liability for any injuries incurred while at camp.
