Buffalo, MN is located 26 miles west of Plymouth from the Metro area, and 11 miles south of Monticello from I-94.

Both tournaments will be held at the new Buffalo High School: 877 Bison BLVD, Buffalo MN 55313.

‘Scratch weights’ (no preset weight classes -- Wrestlers will be grouped together by similar weight.)

Registration is open and ‘at the door’.

All wrestlers must have an active USA Wrestling Membership. We’ll have these available for sale at Buffalo also.

Saturday:
Freestyle Open (this is a Qualifier for the MN/USA State Freestyle Tournament, for Kids and Cadets)

Registration and Weigh-ins: 7:00 AM to 8:30 AM, please be there by 8:30 sharp.
On Saturday, a wrestler may register for Sunday’s tournament also. (please see “Sunday” below)

8-man (when possible) freestyle brackets, double-elimination

Wrestling begins at 10:00 AM.

Entry fee: $12

Admission: $3 per adult, free for 18 years old, and younger

Sunday:
Greco-Roman Open

Registration and Weigh-ins: 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM

Wrestlers who register, pay, and weigh-in for Sunday’s tournament on Saturday morning, will receive a price of $20 for both tournaments, and they need to check-in ‘at the door’ by 9:30 AM Sunday.

Entry fee: $12 (if it is for Sunday only)

Admission: Free

4-man brackets (when possible), round-robin (wrestlers in full brackets will get 3 matches)

Free Greco Technique and Rules Clinic: At 9:45 AM, Jake Deitchler will give a 30-minute clinic. Jake is a Senior National Medalist, a FILA Junior international tournament medalist, and a 3-time MN H.S. State Champion.

Wrestling begins at 10:15 AM.

Free Drawing: One tournament entrant on Sunday will receive a wrestling package worth over $60. (Includes 2 Dan Gable technique videos plus Minnesota Storm Apparel)
