NEW PRAGUE MN/USA STATE FOLKSTYLE QUALIFIER Saturday, January 2, 2010 From 9:00 am-2:00 pm New Prague High School Gym map 221 12 Street NE, New Prague, MN 56071 SPONSORED BY: New Prague MN/USA Club ELIGIBILITY: All wrestlers must have a USA Wrestling Card, available for purchase online at themat.com or at registration the day of the tournament. FEES: $12.00 wrestler fee. $2 Adult admission $1 Student admission (ages 5 and under free) Division and Weights: Divisions (birth year) PeeWee (2004-2005), Bantam (2002-2003) and Intermediate (2000-2001) Wrestle in East Gym Novice (1998-1999) and Schoolboy/girl (1996-1997). Wrestle in West Gym 4-wrestler Round-Robin Rules: USA Wrestling folkstyle rules and scoring to be used during matches. Overtime decided by High school rule. Individual Awards: All Trophy for Peewee and Bantams All Medal for Intermediate, Novice and Schoolboy Concessions: Concessions booth open 9:00 am to 2:00 pm Uniforms: Minimum dress including tennis shoes, socks and wrestling singlet. Gym shorts or shorts without belt or external metal parts may be worn instead of a singlet. A tight fitting T-shirt may be worn. No sweatshirt, sweat pants or jeans will be allowed. Fingernails must be clipped. Skin Check: Skin Check will be conducted before weigh-ins. Three one and a half minute periods for Intermediate (2000-2001) and Novice (1998-1999) Three two minute periods for Schoolboy/girl (1996-1997). New Prague High School Alumni and HS Athletes Officiate Head Official is New Prague High School Head Coach Greg Tikalsky Coaching will be allowed by One coach or parent.
