High School rules

4-man Round-Robin Brackets (when possible) - bracketed by scratch weights and grade.
Three 1-minute periods for grades PreK-6, Three 1.5-minute periods for grades 7-8

Awards: Plaques for all places -Top placer w/photo (Photos taken and printed on site)

Registration: $12

***All wrestlers who want to advance to NYWA Region and State Tournaments, must have a NYWA membership/insurance card. They can be purchased for $15 at registration.

Team Competition: begins immediately after individuals—Appr. 1:30 PM

Wrestlers: Grades PreK-6th only

Format: Team wrestling will depend on how many teams enter. Any team with an open weight can take from other schools and try fill all or as many weights as possible, but won’t be kept for team points.

Weights: 45, 50, 55, 60, 65, 70, 75, 80, 85, 90, 95, 100, 105, 110, 120, 130, & Hwt. (180 max)

Weights will be used as marked on their hands from the Individual Tournament weigh-ins with 1-lb allowance. Below is a weight sheet for your Team Wrestlers

High School Rules: Match Periods will be 1-1-1 minute
Overtime: Sudden death of 1 min. period; then 30 sec. double periods
Team tie-breaker -- criteria of dual meets
